Editorial Guidelines (//encodingDesc)
Notes on the editorial guidelines underlying the DTA text edition are contained in the Encoding Description (<encodingDesc>
).
The subelement Editorial Description contains information on the entry type for the respective text as well as on the degree of conformity of the text with the DTA guidelines (DTA Transcription Guidelines and DTA Basic Format).
The Tags Declaration subelement contains several <rendition>
elements that specify how the @rendition
values of the TEI text should be resolved in CSS during rendering.
