Page and Sheet Numbering

Page breaks are captured in accordance with the DTABf guidelines for tagging page numbers as follows:

Even if the manuscript is not paginated itself, the <pb> element that contains the facsimile number in the @facs attribute is always present.

If the manuscript is also foliated, the folio number is reproduced in the <fw> element, which contains the @type="folNum" attribute value pair.
